I'm a technical writer at Motorola Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The working-from-home situation allows me to be physically in Shah Alam, Selangor. I would say that I am a person wearing both creative and technical hats. My career trajectory will show you why.

I started my career as a content writer with AirAsia RedTix, an event ticketing company that sold event tickets across Asia. I learned about creating social media posts, UX writing, writing for custom web pages and loosening up by going to events and concerts!

I was also a copywriter at 16TWO. There I had the opportunity to hold big-name accounts such as Volkswagen Malaysia, Maybank and Daisy. Although it was a short stint, I did experience creating online ads, social media posts, video production and script writing.  

 

I moved on next as a content writer for Tripfez Travel. I have always dreamed of becoming a traveller one day. Although I have yet to reach this goal, this is the closest thing to travelling. While being paid :D. I met lifelong friends here while learning to write for the website, UX writing and video production.

Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, travel companies were the first to be hit. ​But when one door closes, another one opens. I then became a technical writer for Motorola Solutions. I saw this as an opportunity to expand my writing ability to a more pragmatic route. Here I was tasked to create and maintain technical manuals. I'm always trying to grow and learn something new. I lose track of time when watching anime, playing console games (PS5 FTW!) or curled up in a good book.
